Philadelphia Bar Association Unveils Podcast Center

PHILADELPHIA – Where can you find insight into the major news and events in Philadelphia – from the best exhibits to the future of Center City? Would you like to know more about the officials and executives who help shape the city through their own words? Answers to these questions and much more information can now be found at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s newly unveiled Podcast Center at

Interviews on topics and people of interest to the citizens of Philadelphia, visitors to the city, and of course to members of the Philadelphia Bar Association are now available in the Podcast Center. Among those featured interviews with “movers and shakers” in the legal community and beyond, are a sit-down with Anne d'Harnoncourt, director and CEO of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, who discusses the new Andrew Wyeth exhibition, as well as an interview with Richard Stengel, president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, who talks about the Benjamin Franklin exhibition. The "Hot Interviews With Very Cool People" is just one of eight podcast categories now available online. Others include Major Events, Speaker Programs, Chancellor’s Column, Member Benefits, Legislative Update, Career Corner and Law Practice Management.

Also available is an interview with Brett Mandel, Executive Director of Philadelphia Forward, who discusses his organization’s mission and ongoing activities, and a discussion between Paul J. Kazaras, Esq., Assistant Executive Director for the Association, and Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Judge Pratter reflects on her career at Duane Morris LLP, discusses the confirmation process to become a judge, and her ongoing activities to mentor young female attorneys.

Many interviews are posted in the area of Member Benefits, including several with Shelly Lawson, Director of Bar Association Programs at USI Colburn Insurance Service.
