Bar's Speaker Series Kicks Off March 25
U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Zane D. Memeger, Pennsylvania Inspector General Kenya Mann Faulkner and Chief Federal Defender Leigh M. Skipper will kick off the new Philadelphia Bar Association Speaker Series sponsored by the Government and Public Service Lawyers Committee on Friday, March 25 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The Speaker Series seeks to promote a broader understanding of the role of government and public service professionals while encouraging more young attorneys to consider a career in this sector of legal practice.
Chancellor Rudolph Garcia will offer welcoming remarks and Assistant District Attorney Deborah Cooper Nixon will introduce each speaker. The event will be followed by a wine and cheese reception, where attendees will have the opportunity for informal questions and answers with the guest speakers.
The event is free and open to all members of the Philadelphia Bar Association. It will be held at The CLE Conference Center on the 10th floor of the Wanamaker Building, Market and Juniper streets. Advance registration is required. Click here to register.
