Volunteers Needed: Expungement Hearings Sept. 22

On Friday, Sept. 22 the YLD is in need of 1-2 people to handle expungement hearings originating from the 2016 Expungement Clinic. Volunteers are needed beginning at 9 a.m. until whenever the hearings end, likely sometime between 12-2 p.m.

Volunteer, Donate to Help Texas Flood Victims


In light of the recent tragedy in Houston, the associates of Montgomery McCracken have expressed an interest in traveling to Texas to volunteer and are presently looking for other like-minded attorneys throughout the city. Volunteer options ranging from participating in legal clinics to simply assisting in the distribution of supplies are currently being explored, although they are open to additional suggestions. Montgomery McCracken is willing to spearhead this activity and is seeking to identify firms or individuals who would be willing to participate, with the goal of getting a critical mass of 6-10 attorneys in total to travel to Texas. The Supreme Court of Texas issued an Emergency Order to permit out-of-state lawyers to practice law in Texas for up to six months, on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
