This year’s conference boasts 22 sessions affording lawyers and judges the ability to earn up to 10.5 CLE/CJE credits that clearly offer something for everyone. The conference will highlight topics such as:

On Saturday, the first of two plenaries include the First Judicial District’s informative and practical plenary program addressing expectations from an effective brief or memorandum of law. Hear judicial insight into the decision-making processes and their preferences as to specific aspects of brief writing. The conference concludes with a dynamic educational plenary, Roe and the Path Ahead, moderated by award-winning journalist and attorney, WHYY's Cherri Gregg, examining new challenges not only to the right to choose and reproductive care, but also implications for the LGBTQ community, and for protections of civil rights in general, and what attorneys can do to address these challenges. Immediately after the session, stay for the sponsor passport giveaway and raffle winners.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Dawn Petit at dpetit@philabar.org. The amount refunded for cancellation is dependent upon the date the cancellation request is received. Cancellations received on or before Aug. 19; full refund less a $50 processing fee. Cancellations received Aug. 20 through Sept. 12; 50% of the total registration fee will be refunded. Cancellations received after Sept. 12 are 100% nonrefundable. Discounted rates are available at The Borgata. A link to book your room will be emailed to you after your conference registration is received. Deadline to register for the hotel is September 1.
