Antitrust Law Through an International Lens

Program originally presented Tuesday, February 10, 2026

This CLE presentation, moderated by U.S. antitrust counsel, features Canadian and European attorney speakers, both of whom are prestigious partners at highly respected law firms in their respective jurisdictions. The discussion will focus on key areas of convergence and divergence between United States Antitrust Law and the Competition Laws and systems in Canada and Europe.

Panelists will highlight a wide range of topics that address:

  • While many suggest that there has been a convergence in the area of dominance or monopolization, some divergence remains.
  • How has Canadian and European “class” litigation developed and how can litigation in different jurisdictions impact each other?
  • Should U.S. enforcement agencies try to influence outcomes in Canada or Europe?
  • How would the respective government authorities react to such efforts?

Attend this program to learn and understand key areas of convergence and divergence between United States Antitrust Law and the Competition Laws and systems in Canada and Europe.
