What’s Law Got to Do with It? - A “Trans 101 for the Courtroom” for the Legal Landscape of 2026

Program Originally Presented Wednesday, April 29, 2026

Set against the rapidly shifting legal landscape nationally for Trans and Non-Binary people (TNB), this CLE program aims to provide solid footing – an updated “Trans 101” for members of the legal community, regardless of their role in the law firm or the courtroom. Featured speakers, both of whom have extensive experience as litigators in Philadelphia, will walk attendees not only through vocabulary and fundamentals, but will tie the basics directly to best practices for courtroom participants and their underpinning justifications in both the professional and judicial codes of conduct. Attendees will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge, thinking through hypotheticals based in real world experiences. The program will end with a brief update of the status of TNB rights nationally.

Attend this CLE program to better understand the evolving legal landscape affecting trans and non-binary individuals and how to navigate it in the courtroom.

Featured Speakers:
Kae Greenberg, Esq. (he/him)
Public Interest Attorney and Trans advocate

Tiffany Cobb, Esq.
Postdoctoral Fellow, Family Law Litigation Clinic
Temple University Beasley School of Law
