Hands-On Challenges: Complex Upper Extremity Injuries in Workers’ Compensation

This CLE course is designed to equip Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation practitioners with actionable strategies and practical takeaways for handling complex upper-extremity injury cases. The program features Dr. Trager, who will deliver a presentation addressing complex upper-extremity injuries in the workers' compensation setting. Moderators, Attorneys Wenge and McNicholas, will guide the discussion and address practical and legal issues relevant to both claimant and defense counsel.

The panelists will explore issues that regularly arise in cases where a Claimant has sustained a complicated upper-extremity injury. The course will examine the most difficult upper-extremity injuries to recover from; the benefits and risks of multiple surgical procedures; new advancements in medicine in this field; and the feasibility of returning to work.
