Pennsylvania Constitutional Amendment on Marriage

In repsonse to the recent resolution brougt by the Family Law Section's Committee for the Legal Rights of Unmarried Cohabitants and unanimously adopted by the Board of Governors, Chancellor Feldman sent letters to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee calling forthe Pennsylvnania State senate to oppose Pennsylvania House Bill 2381. The bill propose an emendemnt to the Constitituion of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that would defien mariage between one man and one woman, and would prohibit the state or tis subdivisions from creating or recognizing any legal status equivalent to marriage.
